The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled labourer to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on heritage buildings and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifting and moving heavy stones
  • Filling gaps between stones (pointing)
  • Cleaning and preparing stone surfaces
  • Applying epoxy sealers
  • Mixing and fitting stones
  • Performing other general labouring duties as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
  • Experience as a stone mason, hammerhand or in general construction site roles
  • Ability to use handheld machinery
  • Reliability, ease of communication, and a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • A Full or Restricted New Zealand Drivers Licence
