About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Christchurch, New Zealand. As a key member of our Geospatial development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications that import, manage, and test geospatial data within our SQL database environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications using .NET (C#) applications
  • Develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API to facilitate data exchange between systems
  • Administer and manage Geospatial Jenkins Infrastructure
  • Implement and manage DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of geospatial solutions

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, or other relevant software engineering discipline
  • Demonstrable professional experience in software engineering, with recent experience in a production environment
  • Proficiency in C# .NET development, Git, and Docker, and AWS
  • Experience and interest in working with Jenkins, Octopus, or similar
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, ideally using ASP.NET
