The successful candidate will work with management to plan and agree on work/job objectives, scope a job effectively and identify environmental and other influencing factors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll hold a current practising licence along with strong knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safe Manual – Electricity Industry (SE-MI).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with management to plan and agree on work/job objectives
  2. Scope a job effectively and identify environmental and other influencing factors
  3. Evaluate plant and equipment to ensure compliance, integrity, and fitness for purpose
  4. Guide the estimating process to ensure accurate pricing
  5. Interpret technical drawings and specifications when required
  6. Perform competent audits and quality checks
  7. Articulate job methodologies and approach clearly and clarify to team on site
  8. Seek and explore alternative ideas/approaches to make cost savings and improvements
  9. Complete necessary reports
