Fitter & Turner Craftsperson

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Turner & Fitter Engineer to join our client's shipbuilding and repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical engineering repairs and maintenance on vessels, machinery, and structures. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Performing routine maintenance on complex mechanical systems, including pumps, pipes, and associated equipment.
• Repairing and machining new replacement parts for various systems.
• Maintaining machinery, pump systems, and related services.
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with strict health and safety protocols.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

• A recognized trade qualification (Turner & Fitter, Engineering, or similar).
• Experience in operating lathes, milling machines, and other relevant equipment.
• Strong understanding of pipework systems and ability to diagnose issues.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
• Able to work safely and effectively in confined spaces.
