We are an established and respected painting and decorating organisation operating throughout New Zealand. Our company uses premium grade paints from Resene, Dulux and Wattyl and we are proud of our strong reputation and large group of diverse loyal customers.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, permanent position based in Tauranga with the ability to travel to other Finesse locations. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter/Plasterer who is able to operate both autonomously and within a team across multiple concurrent sites in both commercial/construction and residential/new build situations.
Key Responsibilities- Erect scaffolding and ladders, and placing and securing drop sheets in and around the work area.
- Prepare all work surfaces for finishing work by stripping old paint and wallpaper away, fixing up any damaged woodwork, walls and floors by filling or plastering holes and cracks and sealing surfaces.
- Apply paints, varnishes and stains and other required products to the work surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprayers.
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are left clean.
- Stop new gib, and skim walls.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the trade.
- Current Site Safe Passport.
- Confidence in using a mobile app for project details/time sheeting/project reporting/health and safety.
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing at all times.
- Clean FULL license.
Negotiable pay and benefits depending on experience.
