About The Role
We're seeking an exceptional Animal Care Lead to join our team in Auckland. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll oversee daily animal care operations, develop and lead a high-performing team, and ensure the highest standards of animal welfare are met daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement animal care strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of Animal Attendants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the community to achieve positive animal welfare outcomes.
- Monitor and maintain high standards in health & safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, volunteers, and team members.
About You
