**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM). As an ACNM, you will play a key senior role in providing leadership and support to staff, patients, and families within our forensic acute admission unit. Your clinical expertise and experience in mental health settings will be invaluable in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight for areas delegated by the Charge Nurse Manager
* Support the management of workflow and workload across the clinical area
* Engage and work collaboratively with all stakeholders, particularly patients and their families
* Pursue Māori health gains and achieve equitable health outcomes for Māori
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
* Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly in healthcare settings
* A Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical experience in a mental health setting
* Ability to display initiative and resourcefulness in navigating complex challenges
* Experience in leadership roles is an advantage
