Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team at WM New Zealand Ltd.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, including credit assessment, debt collection, and implementation of recovery strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to address queries and resolve payment issues in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure business is assessed for credit worthiness and potential business risk.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external customers to ensure queries are raised and resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a credit control role, managing large/key customers, various accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve collection processes and manage difficult relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as JDE is highly desirable.
