Your New Role

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Cloud Engineer to spearhead the company's cloud infrastructure management, including network and compute resources. As a key member of our client's high-performing team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and providing expert technical support across various applications and technologies.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Documenting technical project requirements
  • Supporting the development of migration strategies to move applications to IaaS/PaaS
  • Defining architecture blueprints and detailed documentation
  • Creating bills of materials, including required cloud services and tools
  • Designing and setting up Virtual Private Cloud VPC environments, including server instances, storage, subnets, availability zones, and more
  • Setting up compute, database, block volumes, storage, and network within OCI
  • Writing Terraform scripts to provision and manage OCI artifacts
  • Validating environments to meet security and compliance controls
  • Monitoring OCI environments and providing regular reporting
  • Managing issues and resolutions

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in network engineering
  • Experience with AWS, AZURE, or Oracle Cloud engineering
  • DevOps experience
  • The ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to motivate and lead offshore support teams
