The Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Service (North Community & Outreach Team) is a specialist mental health service that provides assessment and treatment of young people up to 18 years of age who present with serious mental health problems, and their families/whānau.
We are seeking a NZ Registered Psychologist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Child and Family Psychology to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive clinical assessment, psychometric testing, and therapeutic interventions individually or in groups.
You will be responsible for developing and regularly reviewing a job plan and caseload with the Clinical Manager. You will work collaboratively with young people, family/whānau, community, and statutory organisations. You will also have the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with consumers of the service and family/whānau.
This is challenging and demanding work within a supportive team. The clinicians on the Team have a range of skills and areas of clinical expertise who are committed and work hard for young people living in Christchurch and across Canterbury.
