We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Specialist Clinician to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury.
Key Responsibilities:- Phone triaging of young people in crisis, working collaboratively with family/whanau and other agencies
- Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and interventions to young people in psychiatric crisis
- Triaging routine referrals into our CAF services
This is a permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week for a NZ Registered Social Worker. The days and hours required for this position are Monday-Friday, usual business hours.
Requirements:- A minimum of 2 years mental health experience, along with knowledge of general mental health assessment or risk
- Experience within a Child and Adolescent setting and an understanding of child and adolescent development is advantageous
Clinical expertise and collaboration are essential to this role.
