Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for Mental Health. This role involves providing clinical leadership and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with mental health conditions
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to service improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with primary health sector stakeholders

Requirements

  • Fellowship with the RANZCP or equivalent
  • Eligibility for registration with the NZ Medical Council
  • A strong commitment to biculturalism and service user inclusion
  • Demonstrated ability to provide training and education to students
