Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for Mental Health. This role involves providing clinical leadership and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with mental health conditions
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to service improvement and innovation initiatives
- Work collaboratively with primary health sector stakeholders
Requirements
- Fellowship with the RANZCP or equivalent
- Eligibility for registration with the NZ Medical Council
- A strong commitment to biculturalism and service user inclusion
- Demonstrated ability to provide training and education to students
