Central Region Forensic Coordinator

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated, resourceful, and enthusiastic registered health professional to join the Regional Forensics and Rehabilitation inpatient service.
About the Role:
- The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage and coordinate multiple clinical pathways and agencies for those clients within the regional forensic and rehabilitation services.
- The coordinator will support the Group manager in developing quality improvement initiatives, reporting, and coordination of Regional Forensics & Inpatient Rehabilitation services as appropriate.
- This role requires a good understanding and awareness of the current demands on national and regional resources of Forensic and General adult mental health services.
About Us:
We, Te Korowai Whariki, are an operational group of regional and national services that have staff based in various locations across the Central Region.
We provide both inpatient and community-based services.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in facilitating and managing change at a local level.
- A minimum of postgraduate certificate in specialty nursing practice (or undergraduate mental health/learning disability nursing programme).
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, non-verbal, and listening skills.
