About The Position

AFFCO Imlay is currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join the team in a permanent role. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will collaborate with our Head Office HR team and plant management to provide expert advice and support in areas like recruitment, induction, training, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in HR or a related field and be eager to take the next step in their career. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the business and community are essential. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting would be beneficial.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files
  • Leading recruitment and onboarding efforts
  • Assisting with performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Ensuring contractor induction and compliance
  • Supporting other administration departments as necessary
  • Collaborating with Head Office HR to ensure effective people management on-site.
  • Providing guidance to supervisors and managers on Employment Relations matters.
About You

We're looking for someone who can multitask effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently. Previous experience in recruiting, incident investigation, report writing, and implementing HR best practices would be advantageous.
