The successful candidate will have 4+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role and will be responsible for overseeing monthly and annual accounting processes. You will also allocate tasks within the finance team to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly and annual accounting processes.
  • Prepare high-level financial reports and contribute to month-end processes.
  • Liaise with external advisors on income tax return processes.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve outstanding performance.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant who can lead, mentor, and coach a small team with empathy and confidence. You will bring:

  • 4+ years post-qualification experience, ideally in medium to large commercial organisations.
  • A background in financial systems, controls, and audits within larger organisations.
  • Knowledge of taxation across NZ, UK, and Australia (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
