Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Assistant to join our team in Katikati. This is a permanent position working an average of 42 hours on a DDNN 4 x 4 roster.

  • Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care under supervision.
  • Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment.

In this role, you will also complete other relevant administrative tasks. To be successful, you will have:

  • a minimum of a Hato Hone St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT.
  • a full NZ driving licence and either have held it for at least one year OR have completed an NZTA approved advanced driving course.

You will demonstrate behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values: Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tu Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui).
