**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as Senior Retail Pharmacist at Auckland City Hospital. As a senior pharmacist and 2IC to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient work-flow within the dispensary to provide quality outpatient pharmacy services.

**Key Responsibilities**

The focus of this role is primarily dispensing and counselling for discharged patients and clinic outpatients. You will have opportunities to develop retail and OTC sales by working closely with staff on site and visitors. In addition, you will be required to support the Pharmacy Manager in providing leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff and assist with overall pharmacy service provision.

**Requirements**
  • Either registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • At least 5 years' experience of working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy or community pharmacy.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a leadership, management or sole-charge role.
