Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a professional to oversee end-to-end inventory management processes, procedures, and optimal inventory parameters. This involves analyzing and managing inventory data using Manhattan Active, Excel, and Power BI to optimize demand and supply planning, catalogue management. The ideal candidate will also manage SLOB stock, evaluate supply risk, and maintain minimum and maximum levels. They will be responsible for the weekly customer cycle count process and liaise with warehouses and major customers. Additionally, they will develop inventory improvement and quality plans and report on relevant KPI data to present to senior management. Supporting the National Warehouse Manager is a crucial aspect of this role, as well as collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects and ensure delivery in line with business objectives.
About You
Applicants should have experience in inventory management or supply chain from any industry, such as FMCG, mining, utilities, oil & gas, etc. Superior systems experience, including exposure to ERP/MRP, advanced Excel, and Power BI, is beneficial but not essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and meaningful data and reporting to the wider business, and educate all levels of stakeholders on supply chain challenges, solutions, and deliverables, are required. A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement of inventory processes and a team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to achieving collective goals are essential for success in this role.
