**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Care Assistant to join our team at Butterwick Hospice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to patients with dignity and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with the community nurse to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and signposting for patients and their families.
  • Assist with light domestic tasks, such as preparing simple snacks.
  • Maintain accurate records of care given and escalate any changes in patient condition as necessary.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in healthcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar role or environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
