We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our team as a Mātanga Huanga. This role involves providing specialist advice on Māori urban design principles and supporting the development and implementation of the Māori Design Kaupapa Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of the Māori Design Kaupapa Programme.
- Provide Māori urban design input into strategies, policies, and projects, including the Auckland Plan 2050 and Auckland Unitary Plan.
- Contribute to the development of best-practice guidance for the Māori Design Hub within the Auckland Design Manual.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting kaimahi within the Tāmaki Makaurau Design Ope.
- Build and maintain relationships with Mana Whenua, Mataawaka, and other key stakeholders.
