Midwifery Practice Development Manager

As a midwife clinical coach, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring midwives to achieve their full potential, while also contributing to the growth and development of our midwifery practice.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced registered midwife with at least 5 years post-registration experience to join our established Midwife Clinical Coach team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling and motivating midwives to work at their best, providing coaching and sharing knowledge to help develop critical thinking and practical clinical support.
Key Responsibilities- Be integral in supporting the growth of our student midwives, those new on their midwifery journey and those returning to the midwifery profession.
- Act as a resource, build relationships with students and help in the development and support of the New Graduate Programme.
- Support the implementation of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings.
