We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant - Healthcare to join our team at the Department of Health, Tasmania. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality reception services and administration support across all areas of the relevant district hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Manage front desk operations, including patient registration, phone calls, and correspondence
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and report preparation
  • Assist with clerical duties, including mail distribution and supply management

Requirements:

  • Current Working with Vulnerable People card with NDIS Endorsement
  • Proven experience in a similar role or healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
