Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective legal advice on employment-related matters, including industrial relations, employment contracts, and employee grievances.
  2. You will represent the organization in employment disputes, mediations, and Employment Relations Authority proceedings.
  3. You will work closely with senior leaders, HR teams, and unions to navigate complex employment relations issues and develop strategic solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as an employment lawyer with a current New Zealand practicing certificate or the ability to obtain one, and/or working in an employment/industrial relations role in a highly unionized complex organization.
