Responsibilities and Accountabilities- You will be responsible for providing timely and effective legal advice on employment-related matters, including industrial relations, employment contracts, and employee grievances.
- You will represent the organization in employment disputes, mediations, and Employment Relations Authority proceedings.
- You will work closely with senior leaders, HR teams, and unions to navigate complex employment relations issues and develop strategic solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as an employment lawyer with a current New Zealand practicing certificate or the ability to obtain one, and/or working in an employment/industrial relations role in a highly unionized complex organization.
