Vacancy Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic primary school teacher to join our team for the 2025 school year. As a Y5-6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of your students. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and policies that support student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate effective classroom programs that promote academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and maintain high-quality curriculum and instructional practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and policies that support student success.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current teaching certification from New Zealand.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
