Job Description

This role plays a critical part in our region's Learning Support team, working with and alongside adults to develop appropriate communications, consultation and co-operation to promote a well-learning lifestyle for tamariki and rangatahi Maori requiring additional quality supports across all education settings.

Requirements

  • ">
  • You will have a relevant diploma qualification (minimum two years study) or higher.">
  • Precference for Early Childhood Teaching, Primary Teaching, Social Work or other equivalent experience.">
  • A good understanding of current Education priorities.">
  • Te Reo me ona tikanga, ability to build trusting relationships, communication and lived experience.">
  • Have a high level of competence and fluency in Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga and be able to link this expertise to work alongside colleagues and specialists in a bi-cultural way.">
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence.">
  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.">
