Job Overview:

Tangram is seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance planning team, overseeing critical assets, and ensuring seamless service delivery in Auckland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Zone Substations and External Customer maintenance planning team.
  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure work follows Vector's Standards and supports network performance.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, reports, invoices, and pricing to meet financial goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external customers and subcontractors.

About You:

  • Solid 10 plus years of experience in electrical distribution networks, with a strong technical background in substations, switchgear protection, and zone substation assets.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and high-voltage customers.
  • Physical fitness to conduct site visits and oversee field operations.
  • A high level of technical expertise, with experience in maintenance planning, asset management, and project execution.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or relevant qualifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work programs effectively.
