Strategic Account Lead

We are a dynamic and innovative team at VML South Africa, passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, developing strategic solutions, and leading project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Managing multiple relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Developing and implementing strategic solutions to meet clients' business objectives
- Leading cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently and effectively
- Collaborating with internal partners to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Providing financial guidance on project budgets, SOWs, and billing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Agency and/or client-side experience managing large-scale campaigns and having worked in shopper marketing or experiential/activation/event spaces
- Shopper Marketing or Experiential/Activation/Events experience mandatory
- Experience on alcohol brands is preferred but not mandatory
- Detailed knowledge/passion of the digital industry, emerging trends, and innovation
- Highly motivated, energetic, and driven individual
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and making decisions
- Detail-oriented
- Strong ability to form and maintain good relationships
- A strong communicator with effective presenter skills necessary to deliver regular presentations
- Ability to think and operate with strategic orientation in addition to task/project management
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and participate in and navigate cross-agency collaboration
- Team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
