Job Description

The Senior Speech Language Therapist will provide assessment, planning, and delivery of care for children aged 0-3 years with feeding, swallowing, and communication difficulties in a community setting. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including Paediatricians and Psychologists, to assess and treat children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment, planning, and delivery of care for children aged 0-3 years with feeding, swallowing, and communication difficulties
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat children with complex needs
  • Development and implementation of individualised plans to support children's development and well-being

Requirements

  • Registration with the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists' Association and current APC
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • A passion for working with tamariki and advocating for their specific needs
