Amida Group is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Administrator to join their team in Sydney, Australia. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Job Overview:- Financial management of projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Providing financial and administrative guidance to project teams, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating and reviewing subcontract tenders, preparing tender comparison reports, and managing subcontract processes.
- Maintaining effective communication with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to environmental commitments and responsibilities.
- Preparing accurate payment schedules, managing contractual risk, and processing progress claims, delay claims, and external variations.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role, with previous financial or accounting experience being highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
