Community Care Worker

As a Support Worker at IHC New Zealand, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Your primary duties will involve:
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Assisting with social interactions, such as outings and community events.
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote growth and development.
To excel in this position, you will require:
- A strong passion for supporting vulnerable populations and promoting social justice.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
