As a Kitchen Assistant at Bupa, you will play a crucial role in delivering delicious and nutritious meals to our residents. You will work closely with our chefs to prepare food, maintain high standards of hygiene, and ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time position working 30 hours per week, 8AM-3PM on a rotating roster. You will be required to work weekends and may need to travel to different locations within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks.
  2. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  3. Work collaboratively with the chef and other team members to deliver excellent service to our residents.
  4. Adhere to health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  5. Develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues and residents.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent care and service to our residents. You will have:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults.
