The Role: We are seeking qualified and ACC registered psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors to join our dedicated ACC Sensitive Claims therapy team (service provider team). As an ACC Sensitive Claims Specialist, you will work with whaiora and their whānau who have experienced sexual harm, offering tailored support through compassionate, warm, and culturally sensitive therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally sensitive therapy tailored to the needs of whaiora
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
- Participate in supervision and mentoring support with professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- ACC registration enabling you to support whaiora with an ACC Sensitive Claim
- A post-graduate qualification enabling you to work therapeutically with clients
- Registration with a registering body under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA) and/or full membership with a Professional Association for your profession
- Availability to work a minimum of 0.4 FTE (16 hours)
