Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Principal Ecologist to join our Ecology & Marine Science team based out of Wellington. The role involves inspirational leadership, business development, and technical excellence to ensure the team delivers technically excellent work to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clear and precise, high quality reports.
  • Undertake fieldwork activities and resource the right teams on projects.
  • Develop, facilitate, and enhance effective relationships with clients and internal team members.
Requirements
  • A degree in Ecology, Marine Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated consulting experience with 12-15+ years in Ecology or Marine Science.
  • Exceptional technical ability in terrestrial/freshwater ecology.
  • Experience winning, leading, and managing projects.
  • Working knowledge of New Zealand environmental legislation and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
