Job Description
This role reports to the Motor Claims Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance claims, handling all claims and negotiations across the Motor portfolio. The successful candidate will be based in our central Auckland offices, joining a passionate team providing exceptional experiences.
Key responsibilities include answering customer inquiries about coverage, lodging claims, and required information to support claims, reporting and escalating risk and compliance concerns, providing technical assistance and advice on insurance law, developing strategies to reduce/mitigate claims costs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need at least one year of experience in claims management within the insurance industry, sound knowledge of claims processes, preferably with motor or motorcycle insurance products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high-level interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to plan and prioritize tasks, and proven customer service skills are essential.
