Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Controller – Operations to join our team in Auckland. This key commercial role will report to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information relating to business performance and supporting necessary commercial decision making.

The main purpose of this work is to ensure that we are processing and transacting accurately and in the most efficient manner. The position will also involve formulating, implementing, and maintaining cost/budgetary control mechanisms, as well as preparing Budget and Forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the Business Case Analysis (BCA) process for contract renewals
  • Formulating, implementing, maintaining cost/budgetary control mechanisms, and timely preparation of Budget and Forecasts
  • Management and cost reporting, and analysis and modelling to include business cases
  • Identifying and addressing potential revenue leakage, and ensuring end-to-end processes are effective and efficient
  • Influencing and building key relationships

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will also need to have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence and build key relationships.
