As a NAIT Officer, you will be responsible for:

  1. ">
  2. Ensuring compliance with the NAIT Act and regulations.">
  3. Conducting investigations and enforcing NAIT requirements.">
  4. Developing and implementing strategies to improve NAIT compliance and effectiveness.">
  5. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve NAIT objectives.">
  6. Providing expertise and guidance on NAIT-related matters.">

About You

">
  • ">
  • We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Experience in animal production systems and knowledge of agricultural sectors would be beneficial.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including NAIT Act, Animal Welfare Act, Evidence Act, Criminal Disclosure Act, Criminal Procedures Act, and Search and Surveillance Act.">
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent regulatory, compliance, and enforcement experience would be advantageous.">

Security Clearance

  • New Zealand citizens who have resided continuously in New Zealand for at least the last five years, or">
