We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Scientist to lead our research efforts in developing high and ultra-high voltage SiC devices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing core technologies for future power system applications and energy savings.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing State-of-the-Art Power MOSFET Architectures: Utilize advanced technology, process, and device modeling tools such as Silvaco, Sentaurus, or similar platforms to create state-of-the-art power MOSFET architectures.
- Characterizing Ultra-High Voltage High Power Devices: Hands-on experience with ultra-high voltage high power device characterization analysis.
- Leading Collaborations with Industry Partners: Lead collaborations with industry-leading partners to enhance the SiC ecosystem in the field of high-voltage devices and power electronics, facilitating the effective utilization of renewable energy & applications in high voltage power electronics.
- Education: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Solid-State Physics.
- Experience: 15+ years of related and industry experience in SiC devices.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of power conversion circuit topologies, ability to conceptualize and establish the groundwork for integrating high-voltage high-power devices into final modular designs.
