About the Role
The Adult Community Mental Health & Addictions Service in Rotorua is seeking experienced Clinicians to join their team. As a specialist intervention provider, you will work closely with the community addiction providers to optimize recovery and quality of life for patients.
Key responsibilities include providing community mental health care based on current best practice, collaborating with internal and external partner organizations, and developing sound legislative knowledge particularly pertaining to the SACAT Act.
- Provide specialist intervention for people to optimise recovery and quality of life as well as case coordination
- Provide community mental health care based on current best practice and collaborative working within the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure all inter-disciplinary referrals within the team are performed with consent from whaiora and their whanau (where applicable)
- Work collaboratively with complementary internal and external partner organisations
- Develop sound legislative knowledge, particularly as pertains to the SACAT Act
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong therapeutic approach and experience in a community mental health and/or addictions environment. A registered Nurse or other suitably qualified health professional with an Annual Practising Certificate and registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand or other regulatory body is required.
