About the Role

As a key member of our Assessment team, you will be responsible for assessing applications from overseas investors to acquire New Zealand assets and making assessments on acquisitions and disposals under the Public Works Act.

You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure we meet legislative requirements and timeframes for our overseas investors. Your primary role will be assessing applications, exercising sound judgment, and effectively conveying your analyses and recommendations to decision-makers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating applications from overseas investors
  • Making assessments on acquisitions and disposals under the Public Works Act
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and timeframes
  • Communicating effectively with decision-makers

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and assessment skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. You should also be able to work collaboratively with others and build strong working relationships.
