The role of a Senior Intelligence Analyst within the National Security Group is to support national security, especially countering terrorism and violent extremism, by using advanced tradecraft across all tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence levels.

The work involves threat assessment and profiling, as well as working on big intelligence problems and system development. The analyst will usually deal with investigators, but sometimes decision makers to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify emerging or escalating trends in crime, crashes, and community reassurance.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects and group analysis.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and demands to maintain quality of work under strict timeframes.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Identifies, establishes, and maintains productive working relationships with internal groups, and external domestic and international entities.
  • Work with limited supervision on complex analytical problems.
  • Consider and champion diversity, different perspectives, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all intelligence outputs.

What You'll Bring

  • You will be an experienced intelligence analyst.
