About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our Community Treatment Team in Christchurch. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with individuals living with moderate to severe mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and prioritize patient needs in a timely manner
  • Develop effective relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Liaise with community supports, NGOs, and other services to ensure comprehensive care
  • Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Full registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Current APC and Mental Health Nursing Scope of Practice
  • Highly developed risk assessment and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and Maori cultural competency
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team
