Exciting Opportunity at United NZ Limited

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at United NZ Limited, a successful and well-established Auckland-based company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and interpret building plans and drawings to determine materials dimensions and installation procedures.
  • Lay bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, and spread mortar between joints.
  • Embed blocks in mortar and remove excess mortar.
  • Check vertical and horizontal alignment.
  • Cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shape bricks to fit irregular spaces.
  • Repair and maintain bricks, cement blocks, and related structures.
  • Design and cut monumental masonry and lettering.
  • Construct walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the same field or a NZQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.
  • Ability to pass random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Physical fitness.
