We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture, and religion, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.Together, as ONETHK Empowering the Community.DESIGNATION: Senior / Physiotherapist (Locum)RESPONSIBILITIESTHK Therapy Service Division (TS) provides occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech language therapy services to THKMC programmes and other community organisations.
TS adopts a holistic client and family-centred care approach by working with transdisciplinary or multidisciplinary professional teams, families, and other community partners.
Through individual and group therapy sessions, TS addresses the various needs of clients ranging from paediatric to geriatric.Our Physiotherapist (PT) is directly involved in the provision of therapy services related to mobility, function, and independence for the pediatric and/or adult population.S/he is responsible for the assessment, intervention provision, and management of the caseload given.The PT works collaboratively in a team that may consist of administrative executives, teachers, medical doctors, nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).S/he plays an important role in providing consultation and training to different AHPs, medical staff, teachers, and caregivers.S/he performs administrative tasks and takes part in projects specific to the work setting.S/he should be a responsible clinician who takes the initiative to learn and to improve his/her work.We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist in adult settings to serve our clients at places such as:Day Rehabilitation CentreDisability ServicesHome TherapyQUALIFICATIONSDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy recognized by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore, or have passed the Qualifying Examinations recognized by AHPC.OTHER INFORMATIONPossess good communication skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team player, hard-working, and proactive.Strong desire to maintain high professional standards for quality service and professionalism.Islandwide location.
