The Role

This pivotal position within our design and engineering team will deliver process engineering services to both clients and in-house teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to design and project teams
  • Designing and developing process descriptions, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Collaborating on control system design, enhancement, and implementation for plant operations
  • Overseeing asset integrity management and initiating plant improvements
  • Validating, certifying, and approving engineering designs
  • Mentoring Mechanical Engineers and Graduate Engineers
  • Promoting MB Century's capabilities through industry networking
  • Managing small-scale design and build projects
  • Overseeing hydrogen generation plant operations

About You

You are an experienced engineer with a Master's Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Systems Engineering, preferably chartered (CPEng or IMechE). Your skills include:

  • Deep knowledge of process and boiler plant operations
  • Proven track record in asset integrity and plant management
  • Familiarity with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
  • Strong project leadership skills
  • Solid commercial acumen to manage work within agreed budgets and timelines
  • Preferably, experience in piping design principles using specialized software
  • Ability to champion asset integrity tools
  • A strong network within the energy sector to support business growth strategy.
