The Role As a pivotal contributor to our design and engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering process engineering services to both our clients and in-house teams.
This role encompasses leading engineering assessments/investigations, developing solutions, and managing issue resolutions on primarily geothermal and hydrogen plant.
Your contributions will include: Providing expert technical support and guidance to the design and project teams Design and development of process descriptions, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams Collaborating to design, enhance and implement control systems for plant operations Overseeing asset integrity management and initiating plant management improvements Validating, certifying, and approving engineering designs Mentoring and providing leadership support to Mechanical Engineers and Graduate Engineers Promoting MB Century's capabilities to clients domestically and internationally through leveraging your industry network Managing small-scale design and build projects Overseeing the management of hydrogen generation plant operations About You You are a seasoned engineer with a wealth of experience in energy or process industries, holding a Master's Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Systems Engineering, preferably with chartered status (CPEng or IMech E).
Your Expertise Includes Deep knowledge and experience with process (gas/steam) and ideally, boiler plant operations Proven track record in asset integrity and plant management Familiarity with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including commissioning practices Strong project leadership skills Solid commercial acumen to manage work within agreed budgets and timelines Preferably, experience in piping design principles using specialized software Ability to champion our suite of asset integrity tools A strong network within the energy sector to support our business growth strategy.
