We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our small, dynamic team responsible for managing projects, contracts, and procurement activities that support the wider PCS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a range of functions that contribute to the success of our contracted services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Evaluate and review services, ensuring they align with service objectives and the Ministry's goals and standards.
  • Manage strategic or new contracts, develop great relationships with providers, and conduct stakeholder engagement as required.
  • Design and implement procurement strategies for services, ensuring approaches used meet business needs.
  • Create all necessary project, contract, or procurement documentation, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and thoroughness in the process.

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrate exceptional relationship management skills and be able to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of people to achieve shared goals.
  • Be a confident public speaker, who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver timely, high-quality advice that is well-informed.
  • Have excellent plain English writing skills, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
  • Have experience in procurement or contract management or be working towards a relevant qualification in procurement.
  • Be flexible and resilient, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage your time well, ensuring that competing priorities are progressing.
