About the Role

The Ministry is recruiting two experienced Advisors to join our Regulatory Reviews teams. As an Advisor, you will support regulatory reviews and investigate specific regulatory issues raised by stakeholders. You will work closely with advisors at all levels to advance our initiatives, strategies, and approaches.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing regulatory system capability through strategic interventions and mechanisms.
  • Improving regulation and regulatory systems by conducting targeted reviews of varying scope and scale.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need sound analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions. You will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in the public service and understanding the machinery of government and processes.

You will have demonstrated experience in advising and supporting people in an organization, as well as a proactive and continuous improvement mindset. Experience in regulatory policy, economics, operational policy, or regulatory operations is highly valued.
