Job Description
As an Electrical Transmission Systems Specialist, you will be involved in many aspects of the design process of transmission lines, including modelling of new and existing alignments, and the design of structures and foundations, for projects ranging from 33 kV to 500 kV throughout Aotearoa NZ and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing concept and detailed design of new and existing transmission lines using PLS-CADD
  • Assessing and designing of new and existing steel tower structures and pole structures
  • Preparing design reports and conducting site visits and inspections as required

Required Skills and Qualifications
You will have a university degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 2-5 years transmission lines industry experience. Proficiency in using PLS-CADD or similar transmission lines software packages is also essential.
