About the Team
The Physiotherapy service has approximately 90 staff members, including physiotherapists, assistants, and administrators, working across Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. We have staff based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames, and three rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti, and Taumarunui. Our vision is to provide quality physiotherapy care that promotes, encourages, and enables health, wellbeing, and independence for patients and Whanau in the communities we serve.
About You
NZ physiotherapy registration and a current annual practising certificate are required. A valid full New Zealand driver's license is also necessary. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy team across various environments is crucial. Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with patients, their whanau, and other healthcare professionals. Experience providing physiotherapy in a pelvic health outpatient setting is desirable.
