We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Research Scientist to drive our AI-assisted machine vision research and development direction. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, as well as experience in leading research teams and managing resources.
The ideal candidate will be able to propose major programs as the principal investigator (PI) and organize resources from multiple research institutions. They will also lead a team, execute major programs, strengthen R&D networking, and grow a dedicated team for AI inspection/machine vision.
In addition, the successful candidate will develop connections with semiconductor and biopharma companies through co-innovation in AI inspection. They will create an R&D roadmap for AI-assisted machine vision with multiple research institutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD in computer science or AI, 10+ years of experience in AI or relevant areas, and 5+ years of experience as PI/R&D lead. A strong track record reflected by publications, patents, and projects is essential. Your presence in both academia and industry will be beneficial.
